Solutions for film & TV
Your production.
Better
connected.
From initial planning to final approval, we develop software that brings information together and gives you a clearer view of your day-to-day work.
01 / Production planning
Many tasks.
One clear overview.
A change in schedule rarely affects just one task. We bring planning, responsibilities and dependencies together in an application that fits.
Possible building blocks
Plan schedules, tasks and responsibilities together
Make changes and current progress visible
Provide information suited to each team and role
Turn separate conversations into a workflow everyone can follow.
When a date changes more than the calendar.
Moving a shoot day can mean different responsibilities, new preparations and revised handovers. Shared planning should make these connections visible. Tasks can be assigned to a department, a person and a date, showing what is still outstanding and which next steps depend on it.
The right view for every role.
Production management needs a different overview from an individual department. We establish which information is shared and which views help people in their daily work. These might include an overall schedule, personal task lists or a view of the next production stage. We also agree which changes should trigger a notification.
02 / Collaboration & approvals
Less searching.
Clearer decisions.
Which version is current? Which feedback belongs to it? Software can answer these questions within the workflow, from the first draft to the recorded decision.
Possible building blocks
Link documents and versions to the relevant work
Collect feedback and outstanding questions in one place
Define review stages, responsibilities and approvals
Help everyone move forward with the same information.
Feedback stays with the right version.
Feedback loses its context when it is scattered across emails, chats and different files. A suitable application connects each version with its comments, open questions and processing steps. Earlier versions remain distinguishable, making it possible to understand the basis for a change or decision.
Give approvals a clear process.
Who can submit a version, who reviews it and who makes the final decision? We define these responsibilities together. A possible workflow moves from submission through review to approval or revision. Status, responsible people and timestamps make the history clear. Scope, access rights and retention are based on your requirements.
03 / Connected systems
Good tools.
Working together.
Established applications do not need to start from scratch. We assess how your existing systems can connect and where custom functionality could help.
Possible building blocks
Exchange data through existing interfaces
Automate recurring transfers and work steps
Develop interfaces for workflows that span multiple systems
We assess which connections are possible based on your systems.
Share data with a clear purpose.
The same information is often needed in several applications, such as schedules, project assignments or progress updates. Before connecting systems, we establish which one is authoritative for each type of data, how changes flow and how current the information needs to be. This allows us to address unnecessary duplicate entry directly.
Plan for exceptions too.
An interface is useful only if its behaviour remains understandable. What happens when information is missing, changes conflict or a system is temporarily unavailable? We consider these situations in the concept, for example through traceable transfer states and clear messages. Implementation depends on the available interfaces, permissions and technical limits of the applications involved.
From a feature to a usable solution
Built to work
in everyday use.
A feature on its own does not resolve a workflow. What matters is whether people understand it, can reliably organise information and can operate it in a way that meets their requirements.
Interfaces & usability
Which tasks happen frequently, and which only occasionally? We structure views around the actual steps people take. Clear labels, recognisable states and helpful feedback are part of that process. Whether the application will mainly be used at a desk or also on location informs the design.
Access & responsibility
Not every piece of information belongs in every view. Together, we define roles, access rights and responsibilities, including for external contributors where needed. The data required and the people responsible for maintaining it form part of the concept. We also consider requirements for privacy, retention and deletion.
Introduction & ongoing development
Existing data, working practices and technical conditions shape the starting point. We establish what should be transferred, how the first deployment will be assessed and what support is needed. Hosting, maintenance and future extensions are also discussed before implementation and included in the agreed scope.
Built around the way you work
Think big.
Start with something specific.
01
Choose a workflow.
Where does unnecessary effort arise today? A specific use case makes the starting point tangible.
02
Define the scope.
We organise the requirements, existing systems and features that are needed first.
03
Extend with purpose.
Experience from actual use reveals which features will help next.
The next step starts with a conversation.
